As for the future government, we as a secular state need a government that has no inclination or ties to any religious groups within or beyond the country. A government that is inclusive, diverse and forward thinking. We need representatives from minority communities, all genders and younger age groups in the future government. Newer faces are needed in politics and newer political parties headed by youth to ensure relevance to the current generation so that they do not become nonchalant to national issues again. The education and health care sectors need a full reform to keep up with global standards. Accountability mechanisms and fair elections must be ensured to prevent diversion from democracy and hoarding up of resources by ministers, MPs and government officials. Reformed financial policies are also much required for our economic progress and transparency in management of armed forces and judicial divisions is key to restoring the faith of citizens in the governing body.
