May Allah make our new Bangladesh live long. As this is just the beginning, we have to take care of our country like our own child, shielding it from all the inner and outer evil forces. We got this immense joy of having a newborn as well as concerns of raising it by assuring its wellbeing.
There are already talks and gabs about the country's future destination coming from the elders. Many are of course positive about it but a large portion is still skeptical about the future as the overall picture tells them that the system is unchangeably faulty and our people are easily misguided and this is exactly what we have to prove invalid. We can never go back to the old ways.
Considering all the perspectives, we, the students must stick together till the end without getting swayed away from our main goal which is 'discrimination-free Bangladesh'. Of course there's going to be thousands of obstacles but should we care? No! Should we give up? No and never. Even if we reach our deathbed, we have to pass our attributes to the next troop of youths.
Here the challenging thing will be sticking to our morals as we will be getting lots of lucrative offers, misguidance, etc not to mention from who they'll be coming from. We have to insert this thing in our mind that 'there is no room for corruption in new Bangladesh and it starts with me'. If any of us let it in then the fester will summon the devils back. It's easy to go bad but it's tough to stay on the right side so we have to choose 'tough'. We can't be like those who slip down for temporary gain go rogue in the long run. In this crucial time we have to remind ourselves again and again to not to lose the track and that we are here for our country and we can't be tired no matter what.
Now keeping all aside, we have to secure the practice of these two things- transparency and accountability. If these are in order then it will be hard for the botchers to prevail. Transparency should be at every work place specifically in the Government's work. Transparency should be in banks, businesses, education sector, and in every institution who provides services. Political insertion in public service sectors should be strongly prohibited even if it seems impossible to do at once. To begin with every organisation or institution should cancel all the political groups under them and create one common association including people of different opinions to discuss and solve their organisational matters. For example there will be a common association of DU teachers eliminating all the Laal-nil-shobuj-holud dol where the there will be constructive discussions rather than tendencies to have promotions and profits led by politics. Another thing that should be put into action is storing and monitoring banking profiles by the central bank. This way one may open several accounts in random banks but will not be able to get way with illegal accumulation. Of course this process will be performed digitally by the general and central banks.
Another most important thing is education which we all know needs a well planned reformation. Besides this considering the infrastructure and the juveniles who are already devoid of this facility, inclined to the culpable activities should be taken to the reformation centres. And before that the reformation centres should be upgraded and expanded. This may sound rude for now but if the reformation centres perform ideally then it will not only rectify them but also reduce atrocities countrywide as the political goons use them as their weapon to spread terror. This may be better than the life their parents could provide due to extreme poverty (only if the reformation centres are run orderly). Also another thing we have to do is empower and invest in our defence forces so that they can tackle any surprises as there are chances to get them anytime, anywhere. Then again a raise and motivation to the Police, BGB, and others will not go to waste. This will help to ward off political dominion and the forces will be able to focus on working for the public.
For now the basic task would be having transparency in all sectors and protecting them from the evil eye of dirty politics. Politics, of course, should be practiced in a healthy manner and should not be a forced thing. Otherwise the political groups will keep unseeing their boundaries and go to any extent to remain in power even if takes uncountable bloodbaths and the mass will keep suffering as always. Lastly people of this new Bangladesh should bear in mind that 'contentment is the key, integrity requires no fee.'
